SGtoDC: This is a Test

April 5, 2010

You’re thinking, “Quiz, I didn’t sign up for a quiz.” The thought running through your mind is I’m not prepared. You are saying, “no one told me there would be a pop quiz.” They call it a pop quiz for a reason you know.

Don’t worry, we let you score this one at home. That and the fact that this quiz will wind up where much of the work I was instructed to give out when substitute teaching. That and the fact that this is a simple True/False quiz and you have a 50/50 chance.

True or False: The following biblical characters accomplished what they did by copying another person of faiths actions:

Noah

Moses and the Plagues

Ruth

David vs. Goliath

Esther

Jonah

Mary and Joseph

John the Baptist

Peter walking on Water

True or False: The following New Testament events can directly be attributed to the ability to copy another event recorded in scripture:

Peter speaking on Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2

The selection of seven men to oversee the distribution of food to widows as recorded in Acts 6

Stephen’s actions before the Sanhedrin as recorded in Acts 7

The conversion of Saul as recorded in Acts 9

The Gospel preached to Gentiles as recorded in Act 10

Paul preaches in Athens as recorded in Acts 17

Paul arrested after being warned as recorded in Acts 21

Paul asks to be seen by Caesar as recorded in Acts 25

Go ahead and tally up your score. You can submit that online. I believe that and three box tops from Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats will get you a t-shirt. Make sure to include your shirt size.
